Each year, the Perseid meteor shower peaks around mid-August. This year, I had the opportunity to go to Joshua Tree with the Native Quest group. We drove down on the 13th, and spent that night under the stars. We watched the meteor shower that night, and then drove out to Laguna Beach, where we watched the sunset. It was a whirlwind weekend full of friends and adventures, and I absolutely recommend it.
