This year, people’s unstoppable spirit for the races truly shone through. Due to several wildfires, there was a lot of smoke in the air for the entire time. There was also a large amount of wind, which (sometimes) helped clear the smoke, but prevented many of the airplanes from flying. Despite that, everyone’s camaraderie and spirit held for almost the entire weekend. The races that were able to run were exciting.
